The Last Weekend Of Summer in Stripes!
With all the talks about Fall, I have to keep reminding myself that it’s no over YET!
I can’t afford to miss out on the last few days of my FAVORITE SEASON, SUMMER, because I’m stressing about the cold ahead! That’s being said! 😉 I’m on a mission to wear as many of my summer loves as possible. I completely forgot about this awesome, blue and white summer stripes, off the shoulder, wide double frill sleeve, amazeballs top I bought weeks ago. That was a mouth full! In addition to that, A bag I fell in love with this summer on vacation in NY, went on super sale (SCORE). The long and short of that, lol, it came in the mail a few days ago and we’re hitting the streets today.
This weekend after the dreadful hurricane/storm (Irma) has been so beautiful. Last weekend was rainy, dark and scary at points and we were locked inside for days. I definitely wanted to get out of the house and I just knew hubby and my munchkins did too. We all got dressed and decided to head to the city. Coincidentally, my mini girly girl, London and I ended up in our white distressed jeans and velvet shoes, which BTW is going to be a big hit for Fall.

So now that London has gotten so tall, most mornings she is rumbling through my closet when she’s getting dressed. I can’t believe that we’ve gotten to this place ALREADY! 😉 It feels like she was just in onesies. I love every bit of it though! Even on those days when I have to send her back to the closet because that particular piece she’s chosen, is not an “US or WE” piece. lmbo… #notforsharing We have similar tastes in most things and very distinct differences in others, so it’s always a treat when we spend time together and when we go shopping. Getting to see her and Arlington evolve into the young lady and young man they’re becoming is so amazing. Sometimes I feel like and do cry and other times I’m busting at the seams, feeling proud and excited about their life paths.
The hilarious part of this time to the city, was seeing both Daddy and big brother Arlington sitting in those strategically placed, comfy chairs that most stores have now a days. lmbo… Even I wanted to sit down! 🙂 London is the energizer bunny! Our little daughter has always been a GIRLY GIRL and all that comes with that. Now that she’s a teenager… her taste has evolved and her love for the stores, style and fashion has been kicked up A MILLION NOTCHES! 🙂 We’re in for it!
