🧵🩷💜 Quick Spring Hemline Tip Honey Bunnies! Gettem UP and save the dresses!💃🏽😅 I absolutely LOVE my " Dress & Sneaker Seasons," aka Spring & Summer! PLUS, Meet Mr. Elliot, my new cutie pie sneaker, Fruit Punch from @officeofangelascott 🥰 He will be on repeat all season and beyond with my dresses! ‼️TIP: Let's pull out those dresses and skirts that are currently in: 1. The donation pile, OR 2. The back of the closet! You know, the one or ones that don't wow you anymore, that could only need a little or big hemline lift to make you love her again!😉 ‼️PLUS, YES! This adjustment can be done WITH or WITHOUT a sewing machine! 🪡 ●Put on your piece ●Find that spot on your legs where you would love your hems to be ●Mark that spot ON BOTH SIDES and the center front with a pin ●Remove the piece ●Add an inch to the spots you marked for the hem ●Draw your cutting line with chalk, pencil, or a pen ●Fold under at the marks you made and press ●Try it on again. ●If you love the new length and no adjustments are needed, it's HEM TIME! Style her up with some sneakers/kicks like my fun ones and VOILA! 🤸🏽‍♀️ Another piece has been revived!🤗 ❣️Ps. I've been away/MIA visiting my parents and family. I'll be back soon. 🧵From the 2021 Archives! About a year and a half into my self-taught sewing journey! It's so crazy how fast the time is flying by!! #throwback #alwaysplaydressup I've been COMPLETELY OBSESSED with sleeves from before I even started sewing!😄 This was one of my earlier experiments with making my own sleeve pattern. It's good to look back at where you started to see how far you've come! 🤗 I want to restyle this top and make some improvement tweaks to the pattern. NOW THAT I have a bit more experience "under my sleeves"!
